This week the Canadian Labour Congress unanimously adopted a resolution calling for a national conference for injured workers, workers with disabilities, workers with family members who are disabled, their service providers, and their advocates, to develop a new strategy to address our needs.
The CLC will need support from its Labour councils, community groups, injured workers groups, disability organizations, and others to make this happen.
Other resolutions important to the injured worker community are before the CLC executive for a decision on adopting.
